Japan, Tokyo - The Lockup Restaurant - Izakaya

Imagine walking through the streets of Tokyo looking for a good place to eat and you stumble upon a mysterious looking place. Curious,b>sbo you walk downstairs and you find a door that leads to a dark cave. You hear screams all around you, but you can't really see much in front of you.sbo As you slowly walk around the corner you see a man strapped to a wheelchair, oh wait, its an electric chair. Suddenly sparks start to fly around his head as he screams in agony. You have just entered The Lockup. Once inside, you are handcuffed and taken down through a set of corridors, you find that you are actually in an underground jail. You are taken to your jail cell where there are tables and chairs (sometimes).sbo Now you are presented the menu and can have a fun and enjoyable experience. Besides the atmosphere I found this place to be just like a regular Izakaya when it comes to food. For drinks you do get a Gothic variety of ghastly drinks, although they have a very low alcohol content.sbobet If you are brave, I recommend the Russian roulette takoyaki. Simply put, if there are six people in your party, they will bring six takoyaki and while five of them contain octopus inside, one of them will have a habanero chilli inside, you just don't know which one it is.sbobet Take a chance! So you decided to visit The Lockup on a weekend night. You are eating, sbobet drinking and talking with your friends when suddenly the lights start to flicker on and off. You hear a deep dark voice over the speakers speaking something in Japanese and suddenly the lights turn off. You cannot see much, but suddenly hear sounds on the walls and all around your cell. You can see shapes moving all around you as they are getting closer to you. Lights start flashing on and off and finally you can see these shapes. You are experiencing a ghost attack. Ghosts have escaped and are after you. One of my favourite things about The Lockup is this little show they put for customers and although for us is fun and games, sbobet I seen some Japanese girls crying from how scared they are by this. As far as bizarre restaurants in Japan, sbo The Lock up definitely distinguishes itself as one of the best. Be sure to make reservations if you are planning to go on weekends as it can get pretty crowded. They also have a nice option to pay a set price for all you can eat and drink for two hours. This option however, does not include the ghastly drinks.
